Overview
Garlic OG is a throwback-style cultivar with the kind of pungent, familiar character that defined classic OG flower before sweeter modern dessert genetics became dominant.
This Premium Sun Grown Deps batch stands out for its long, well-developed spear-shaped nugs, olive-green coloration, moderate frost, and mildly pungent old-school OG aroma. Rather than leaning heavily into modern GMO-style garlic funk, this expression is much closer to traditional kush, dry gas, earthy pine, and savory spice.
Testing at 23.08% THCa and 24.23% total cannabinoids, it delivers solid potency while keeping the focus on structure, aroma, and classic strain character. Garlic OG THCA COA
Strain Lineage & Profile
Garlic OG is a name used across more than one OG-family expression, so we avoid forcing a single pedigree where the exact breeder lineage is not confirmed.
What defines this batch more clearly is its classic OG character: pungent kush, dry gas, earthy depth, pine, and a lightly savory edge. That profile gives it a distinctly old-school feel compared with many of the sweeter Gelato-, Runtz-, and candy-forward cultivars common today.
For customers familiar with traditional OG flower, this batch should feel immediately recognizable.
Aroma & Flavor Profile
The nose is mildly pungent but distinctly OG-driven, opening with earthy kush and dry gas before settling into pine, spice, and a faint savory note.
Despite the Garlic OG name, this batch does not present as heavily onion-like or sulfurous. Instead, it leans toward the classic fuel-and-kush side of the spectrum, with a restrained savory edge that adds depth without overpowering the rest of the profile.
The overall aroma feels familiar, grounded, and slightly nostalgic.
Appearance & Cure
The flower features long, spear-shaped nugs with medium density and a naturally developed Sun Grown Deps structure.
The coloration ranges from olive to moss green with rusty orange pistils throughout and a moderate dusting of pale trichomes across the surface. The buds retain a somewhat natural trim, which fits the Deps format while still presenting noticeably better development than a basic Mid Shelf batch.
The longer nug structure is one of the defining visual traits here and helps this flower stand apart from smaller or more irregular Deps offerings.
Effects & Experience
Garlic OG fits comfortably into the classic OG experience profile, with a generally calming, grounded character paired with enough mental presence to keep it from feeling completely one-dimensional.
Customers who enjoy traditional kush and OG cultivars often gravitate toward this kind of profile for its heavier, more settled character and familiar pungent aroma.
Individual effects can vary depending on tolerance, amount used, and setting.
Why It Stands Out
This batch stands out because it feels distinctly old-school.
While much of the modern flower market centers around candy, Gelato, and fruit-forward genetics, Garlic OG brings back the more traditional combination of kush, earth, pine, dry gas, and savory pungency.
The longer spear-shaped nugs, respectable frost, and cleaner overall development also place it above a standard Deps offering, making it a strong Premium Deps / Upper Mid Shelf option for customers who prioritize classic strain character over modern dessert profiles.
With 23.08% THCa and 24.23% total cannabinoids, the potency supports the presentation without needing to be the sole selling point. Garlic OG THCA COA
